• Secures RM22 Million US Automotive Mechatronics Supply Contract

• Forms Non-Automotive Manufacturing JV for export markets

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 March 2025 – MCE Holdings Berhad (KL:MCEHLDG), today announced two strategic developments that increase its global footprint, securing a major contract to supply mechatronic components to the United States and forming a joint venture to diversify into non-automotive contract manufacturing.

 

Major US Contract with JVIS

Through its wholly owned subsidiary Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Berhad, MCE has secured a 60-month contract with JVIS USA LLC (JVIS), a Michigan-based automotive supplier.

The contract, valued at approximately RM22.13 million, will see MCE supplying mechatronic components for a new vehicle model in the US market, with production scheduled to commence in the first quarter of the financial year ending July 31, 2027.

JVIS is renowned for its advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions, serving leading global automakers. This collaboration reinforces MCE’s growing reputation as a trusted supplier of high-quality automotive components on the international stage.

Strategic JV with Eagle Group Unit for Non-Automotive Contract Manufacturing

To drive growth beyond its automotive core, MCE has partnered with Sounding Industries Ltd (SIL), a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Eagle Group, to establish a new joint venture focused on non-automotive contract manufacturing.

Eagle Group is a well-established OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), with over three decades of expertise in consumer electronics, automotive electronics, and precision manufacturing.

The partnership, structured as a 50:50 joint venture through MCE’s wholly owned subsidiary, MCE Ventures Sdn Bhd, will provide contract manufacturing services for a wide range of non-automotive products, including die-cutting machines, precision tools, and packaging solutions for the cosmetics products.
